Falkland bowled and fielded well, with the star of the show being D Caldwell 8.2 over’s, 5 wkts for 40.

Sterling performances from Sc Meikle, T Paulin, C Hepburn and with seasoned pro M Watson all contributing. L Briggs bowled a good spell at a tough time of the match.

The batting was the problem for Falkland. After a reasonable start the wheels wobbled and fell off with the 2nds bowled out for 87. Frankly, not good enough, with a large amount of us needing to train and perform better!

Disappointing start would be a fair comment, and the school report would say “Nice group of lads, but have the potential to do much better “
