Strong Uni Staff Team Too Good For 2nds

St. Andrews Uni Staff beat Falkland 2nd XI by 70 runs

Even though the wicket was poor, the Falkland bowlers had little luck. Harry and Lyle had a good start with back up from Greg, Mike, Kris and Geordie. There was some fantastic catching, from Kris who took the first wicket, and the 2nd catch from Harry, caught and bowled was even better. Stop of the day goes to Dave Chambers who was at full stretch from a hard hit drive (all of 3 feet) to stop a ball. It was even close to a catch! The tremors are still active, and this was off Greg's Bowling!

The batting disappointed. There was a good start from Kris and Cassius, with Kris 37 caught and bowled, and then Harry with 31, but no batsman went on to score a big total and it left us short.

In all, a nice group of lads and a well tempered game spoilt by a very poor wicket.
