Losing the toss, Falkland were put into bat at The Arns. A solid opening partnership between Wayne and Calum Bell lasted until the 13th over with the score on 39. Scholsey came and scored 34 before being bowled.

Wayne batted until the 43rd over, scoring 88 with other contributions from Calum Bell (16) and Craig Hepburn (13).

After the break, Mike Watson opened with a very tidy spell, bowling 5 maidens in his first 6 overs and removing the dangerous Hefer with the score on 33.

After this, Falkland bowled tidily and fielded well, (there are some advantages to young teams). Callum Watson was on a hatrick as part of his 5 for 26 and Craig Hepburn bowled a very tidy spell, keeping the reply behind the asking rate as he conceded only 12 runs in 9 overs, picking up 1 wicket. Greg Chambers had 2 for 26, Mike finished with 1 for 22 and Scott Meikle 1 for 34.

Falkland won by 52 runs.
