Falkland produced a ruthless, confidence‑boosting performance on Thursday night, dismantling arch‑rivals Freuchie by 129 runs in a one‑sided T20 at Freuchie Park — a result built on explosive batting, disciplined bowling, and three superb partnerships.

Full credit goes to Freuchie for getting the ground playable after heavy rain, but once the game began, Falkland took complete control. With Freuchie’s strike military medium seamer ruled out through injury, the visitors wasted no time capitalising.

Adnan Mufti (65 off 47) set the tone with a flurry of boundaries, driving and cutting with authority. He and Jack Henderson (46 off 41)* put on a commanding opening stand worth 94, giving Falkland the perfect platform.

After Adnan fell, the tempo somehow increased.
Sriram Muramalla (38 off 20) arrived and immediately went into overdrive, striking four boundaries and two sixes in a blistering cameo.

Then came the finishing act: Kyle Lottering (36 off 12)*, who launched three sixes and three fours in a devastating burst that left Freuchie’s bowlers staring into the middle distance. Falkland closed on 195/2.

Defending a huge total, Falkland’s bowlers were excellent from the outset, limiting boundaries and squeezing the life out of the chase.

Daniel Styer (2‑7) struck immediately, removing Marshman and later Glasgow with miserly accuracy.
Kyle Lottering (2‑6) backed up his batting heroics with two wickets of his own, including Ryke.
Logan Briggs (2‑9) continued the pressure with sharp turn and clever changes of pace.
Ryan Hepburn (or was it George Cutler?) (1‑10) chipped in with another as Freuchie struggled to find any momentum.

Freuchie finished on 66/7, never threatening the target as Falkland controlled the innings from start to finish.

A dominant performance against local rivals, built on three excellent partnerships, tight, disciplined bowling, boundary‑limiting pressure, and a batting display full of confidence and intent.

A very good win and and a valuable night in the middle for the four batsmen.
