On a roasting hot day at Scroggie Park, Falkland produced one of the great modern‑era performances to defeat Forfarshire by 21 runs and book their place in the Scottish Cup semi‑finals — only the second time in the club’s history, following the unforgettable run to the final in 2024.

The noise was constant, the encouragement relentless — and while one particular voice may have carried slightly louder than the rest (my sincerest apologies for that), the players absolutely fed off the energy.
