On Wednesday evening Falkland visited Perth Doocot to play a Scottish Cup T20 match. Falkland Captain Adam Ferguson won the toss and elected to bat first.

After the early loss of opener Stuart Campbell, Steven Meikle was joined by Harsha Cooray and the pair put on 48 in 46 balls before Harsha was out for 31 from 31 balls. Steven Meikle went on to reach 50 in 46 balls. Helped by Cameron Nellies 21 (18 balls) and Kacy Clement 20 (18 balls not out), Falkland reached 142 from their 20 overs. Steven Meikle finishing on 51 not out.

Falkland’s bowlers proved too difficult for the home side and the target was never threatened. Perth’s Calum Laing top scoring with 28, with his side totalling just 89. Falkland’s Brock Ditchmen took 4 Wickets for 14 runs, Logan Briggs 2 for 14, Kacy Clement 1 for 14, Steven Meikle 1 for 33 and Alan Hamilton 0 for 11 from his 4 overs.
