Falkland beat Perth Doocot by 86 runs

Falkland Captain Stuart Cambell won the toss and elected to bat first.

The batsmen scored steadily despite losing Darren Pearce and Harsha Cooray cheaply. A bright spot of the innings was under 17's player Euan Sloan scoring 38 before being bowled. Ben Strachan top scored for Falkland with 56 from 66 balls. Doocot's best bowling performance came from R.Pennycook with 3 for 31 from 9 overs. The visitors scored 204 for the loss of 5 wickets from their 45 overs.

The Perth Doocot Innings showed promise at times but never really gathered momentum. Ali top scored with 31 but the home side were bowled out for 118 in 29.3 overs with Ben Strachan returning bowling figures of 3 for 21 from 6 overs and Harsha Cooray 3 for 28 from 7 overs.
