(S Campbell 76, A Paul 45, Saim 3 for 18)

(H Kiyani 39, Sohail 31, G Chambers 3 for 20)
Falkland Won by 77 Runs
Falkland progressed to the next round of the Murgitroyd T20 at Falkland on Thursday night, but, although there were some good Falkland performances, notably an opening stand of 111 from Stuart Campbell and Aaron Paul, it was a far from satisfactory game of cricket which finished in farcical conditions of darkness and cold at about 9.20 pm. This state of affairs was to a large extent brought about by Kinloch's painfully slow over rate and general lack of cricketing nous in the first innings, and the dreadful amount of wides conceded by both sides. It was also perhaps a week or so too early in the season to be playing midweek cricket.
Nevertheless Falkland won through to play Aberdeenshire in the next round, and congratulations are in order.
