Falkland's innings suffered an early set back with the loss of Steven Meikle but Captain Stuart Campbell assisted by Aaron Paul and then Harsha Cooray pushed the score on to 119 from 31 overs when the hot and humid weather changed to a downpour. Campbell was not out 55, Paul was out for 21 and Cooray 28 not out. Further play was not possible leaving the home team just 17 runs short of the Duckworth Lewis Stern par score.
