On the last Saturday of July Falkland welcomed Carlton to Scroggie Park. The visitors won the toss and chose to bat first.
Carlton scored steadily and despite a 45 minute rain delay which reduced the available overs to 48 per side, Carlton reached 244 for 9 wickets. Opener Pillai making 104. Falkland's Ben Strachan returned figures of 3 for 51 and Ardene Ruhode 3 for 67. The Duckworth Lewis calculation produced a target for Falkland of 249 to win.
In response the home side were all out for 94. Carlton's 'Man of the Match' Pillai returned bowling figures of 4 for 19 from 5.2 overs and Shoebridge had figures of 3 for 33.
