Falkland travelled to Raeburn Place, the home of Grange Cricket Club just 2 days before the Scotland Cricket team arrive there to take on Afghanistan in an ODI.

Grange Captain Andrew Brock won the toss and decided to bat first.

The innings was delayed by 30 minutes because of a wet outfield and was interrupted again by rain for 45 minutes before being halted altogether with Grange on 259 for 5 from 46 overs. Neil McCallum top scoring with 57. Extras were the third highest score (41 runs). Falkland's best bowling figures were produced by Ardene Ruhode with 3 for 54 from his 10 overs.

At 4.10pm the ground was hit by a very heavy rain shower which rendered the ground unfit for play and the match was abandoned.
