Falkland at Freuchie on Thursday night in lovely conditions retained the Fife Cup.

Glenrothes chose to bat first, and it was felt that their total of 123 was never quite enough although Chris Greaves had a
good knock with 46.

In reply Falkland started slowly, and at the halfway stage had only reached 44. But Safyaan Sharif stepped up the pace
at exactly the right time, hitting a couple of 6s and six 4s and his knock of 65 saw Falkland home with an over to spare.
