Falkland beat RH Corstorphine by 90 runs

Falkland Cricket Club welcomed their sponsors to Scroggie Park to thank them for their valued support, they also welcomed CSL Eastern Premiership strugglers RH Corstorphine for the last league game of the season. Falkland Captain Brock Ditchmen won the toss and elected to bat first, a decision that looked to be a brave one when the home side were just 36 for 4 from 11 overs. But Ben Strachan, supported by Stuart Campbell retrieved the situation with a partnership of 75. Falkland completed their 50 overs and were all out for 163. (Ben Strachan 62 and Stuart Campbell 32). RH Corstorphine's Kevin Meier returned bowling figures of 5 for 34 and Callum Dutia 3 for 33.

Set 164 to win, the Falkland bowling attack proved too difficult for the visitors and they were all out for 73 in 34.2 overs. Cloete Buitendag had bowling figures of 5 for 9 runs, Ben Strachan 3 for 24 and Captain Brock Ditchmen 2 for 14.

Falkland finish a creditable 6th in the 2015 CSL Eastern Premiership league.
