Autoecosse Forfarshire beat Falkland by 34 runs

Falkland 1st's disappointed after a good start against Forfarshire

On a lovely Summer's day at Scroggie Park, Forfarshire, won the toss and chose to bat first. The visitors were soon reduced to 39 for 4 after just 14 overs. However, a partnership of 76 by Ryan Watson and Adrian Bailwal was instrumental in the visitors reaching 186 for 9 from their 50 overs. Watson scored 32 and Bailwal 56. (Extras added 31 to the visitors score).

Falkland were 45 for 0 before losing opener Jack Henderson, wickets then fell regularly and despite a well played 45 from Adam Ferguson Falkland were all out for 152 from 47.1 overs. M.Leask returning figures of 3 for 12 runs from 8 overs and G.Black 3 for 18 from 6.1 overs.
