Falkland, despite a mini collapse in the middle of their order, beat Freuchie by 5 wickets at Scroggie in the Fife Cup semi-final to ensure a place in the final against either Dunnikier or Glenrothes who play each other on Thursday at Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy.

Freuchie won the toss and batted first. Wallace and Khalil put on 46 for the first wicket but after the departure of Khalil, there was little support for Wallace, and the innings collapsed miserably to 91 all out, Brock Ditchmen returning the amazing figures of 4 for 7 as he and Nangia mopped up the tail.

Falkland started brightly, and although there was a panicky dip in the middle order after Henderson was out, Bryn Cleaver's 49 not out was enough to see Falkland home.
