Forfarshire won the toss and put the home side into bat. In difficult batting conditions Falkland fought to recover from 37 for 4 wickets to reach 149 all out from 46 overs. Adam Ferguson top scored with 37 with Matthew Surry making 30. Forfarshire's best bowler was Umair Mohammed with 3 wickets for 28 runs from 12 overs.
Very tight bowling from Ryan Hepburn and Falkland's Captain, Brock Ditchmen resulted in Forfarshire having 3 wickets down after only 8 overs for just 10 runs. The visitors tried to move their score along but 4 superb catches, (Wicket Keeper Connor Ryan snapping up a very smart catch behind the stumps, Mike Morris and Brock Ditchmen both taking difficult catches travelling well above their heads and Jack Henderson effortlessly hanging on to a ball slammed back to him off his own bowling), ensured that the Forfarshire innings never really gathered any kind of momentum. Forfarshire were all out for 65 from 25 overs. Top scorer was Andrew Wallace with 31. Falkland's bowling figures were first class, Ryan Hepburn 10 overs, 5maidens, 3 wickets for 19 runs. Brock Ditchmen 8 overs, 4 maidens, 3 wickets for 8 runs. Jack Henderson 5 overs, 1 maiden, 3 wickets for 16 runs. An excellent days work by the Falkland Team.
