Falkland's 1st XI Cricket team played APD Dumfries in the Scottish Cricket Cup.

The Dumfries team had been victorious in the same fixture at Dumfries and prevailed again in the beautiful Summer setting of Scroggie Park nestled in the Falkland Estate.

Falkland's Captain for the day, Brock Ditchmen won the toss and elected to bat first but despite an excellent scoring rate in the first 12 overs (62 runs) Falkland were all out for 150 in just 37.3 overs. David Gray top scoring with 36 from just 44 balls and Jeremy Goodin topped the Dumfries Bowling with 3 for 15 from 5.3 overs closely followed by Peter Lojszczyk with 3 for 47 from 13 overs.

Dumfries scored 153 from 44.4 overs to take the win, Chris Bellwood the Dumfries Captain top scoring with 35 from 61 balls. Nic Lockyer was the best of Falkland's bowlers with 3 for 46 from 11.3 overs.
