On a breezy cool end of Summer afternoon, Falkland's Captain Brock Ditchmen won the toss and chose to bat. Unfortunately, on this occasion the batting performance was disappointing. Captain Ditchmen top scoring with 33 out of a total score of 148 all out from 42.4 overs, with extras totalling 49.

RH Corstorphine's innings faltered quickly losing two wickets for just 17 runs after 5 overs. First class bowling performances from Alan Hamilton (5 wickets for 27 runs from 12.5 overs) and Brock Ditchmen (1 wicket for just 6 runs from 13 overs) slowed the visitor's progress and produced an exciting finish with RH Corstorphine reaching 151 for 8 wickets in 49 overs and 5 balls from their allotted 50 overs.
