Autoecosse Forfarshire beat Falkland by 37 runs

On Saturday 3rd August Falkland welcomed league leaders Forfarshire to a breezy and showery Scroggie Park. Forfarshire won the toss and elected to bat. Their Innings stumbled at 37 for 2 wickets but opening bat Parker (41) then Garden (63) and Bailwal (40) helped the visitors reach 193 all out from 49.4 overs. Falkland's Wayne Sullivan taking 3 for 50, Avin Yadav Umesh 2 for 21 and Nic Lockyer 2 for 38.

Falkland's innings started promisingly when opener Jack Henderson struck the first two balls for two fours, but he was soon to fall to Bailwal for just 15. Forfarshire Bowlers Bailwal (3 for 20) and Sweeney (4 for 31) ripped through the Falkland Batting line up and at 7 for 57 the game was all but over, though Geordie Gallagher (27) and Avin Yadav Umesh (37), supported by Cameron Nellies (4) and Alan Hamilton (2) pushed Falkland's final score to 156 from 45.4 overs.
