Falkland beat West Lothian by 5 wkts

On Saturday Falkland's 1st XI travelled to Linlithgow to play West Lothian in Cricket Scotland's Eastern Division. Falkland Captain Ryan Hepburn won the toss and put West Lothian in to bat on a surprisingly wet ground.

The home side found it difficult to score runs reaching 47 off 19 overs when Falkland brought on Alan Hamilton to bowl. Hamilton ripped through the West Lothian batsmen finishing with figures of 5 for 27 from his 13 overs. West Lothian scored 118 from their 50 overs for the loss of 6 Wickets. M.Miller top scoring with 32.

Falkland scored much quicker during their innings and reached 119 in just 23.2 overs but lost 5 Wickets in the process. Nic Lockyer top scoring with 36.
