Good Win for 1sts

Falkland 1st XI had an excellent win in the first match of the season in the CSL Eastern 1st Division against Fauldhouse. Falkland Captain Ryan Hepburn won the toss and put Fauldhouse in to bat. The visitors were all out for 79 in 31 overs - top scoring was Francis Mahon (20 not out). Wayne Sullivan took 3 Wickets for 6 runs after 4 overs. Craig Hepburn also took 3 Wickets for 25 runs off 7 overs.

Falkland reached the winning score of 80 in 28.5 overs after losing 4 Wickets. David Gray top scored with 28 and Nick Lockyer scoring 24 not out. Alan McDonald for Fauldhouse took 3 Wickets for 27 runs off 10 overs.
