The Future of Falkland Church Building project is currently operating as an unincorporated organisation. At this stage, the group has been established primarily to carry out fact-finding and community consultation about what might be possible for the building in the years ahead.

If the project develops as hoped, the intention is for the organisation to become a limited company in Scotland, potentially with charitable status. This would allow the group to apply for funding to help purchase the church, safeguard its long-term care, and open up new opportunities for community activities and support.

Importantly, any future plans would aim to celebrate and protect Falkland’s proud heritage, ensuring the building continues to play a meaningful role within the village.
