Wishing our Members, Players, Volunteers, Falcons (+ Parents), Sponsors, and Supporters a Happy and prosperous New Year.

2023 was another very good year for the club. We continue to field 3 Senior XI's every weekend, and our Juniors (Falkland Falcons) continue to thrive with the numbers on a Friday night topping the 100 mark. Thank you to all the players and parents who continue to support the club the way they do.

The establishment of the Lomond Lynx's (Women and Girls) and being named a Cricket Scotland Disability Champions Club (https://www.cricketscotland.com/falkland-and-meigle-named-disability-champion-clubs/) show that Diversity and Inclusion remain a priority as we strive to make the game we love as open and accessible to all.

2024 will be as challenging a year as ever but we go into it with great enthusiasm and a hope/expectation that it will continue to see the club go from strength to strength. Senior training has already started, we've attracted several new players to the club and the Falcons program for 2024 will soon be released. Professional Kyle Jacobs will return to Scroggie in 2024, accompanied by a new Overseas Amateur from South Africa (more on that in the coming days).

To our amazing sponsors (old and new), thank you for your support. Without you, we would not be able to do what we do, and we look forward to continuing our partnerships into 2024, and for many years to come. And a special thank you to our ever-willing group of brilliant volunteers (including our 20+ committee), who we couldn’t function without!!

Sadly we lost a couple of FCC Family Legends in 2023 with the passing of Charlie McGarrie and David Potter, two men who gave so much to our club and will never be forgotten.

We have much to look forward to in the coming year, and can’t wait to welcome you back to Scroggie Park in a few months.

Finally, we'd like to wish Logan Briggs all the very best when he flies out to South Africa to play for Scotland U19's in the World Cup - https://www.cricketscotland.com/team/u19/ - where we are sure he will do himself, his family and the club proud.

See you all in 2024.
