Falkland took the field first on Sunday at Dunnikeir in a 30 over a side game in the SPCU. This was a hugely enjoyable game throughout, played in excellent spirit with great banter between the teams.

The wickets were spread around with Euan, Lyle, Greg, Peter and Scott taking one each and guest Arjun Narayana taking 2. Lyle took a wicket with his first ball and then followed it up with 20 dot balls.

The innings closed after 30 overs with Dunnikeir making 130 for 7 with 2 batsmen retiring.

Father and son Scott and Lyle Robertson opened our innings against some excellent bowling from Dunnikeir's juniors. Indeed, the first 20 overs were all bowled by juniors. Lyle fell first for a well made 27 and, after a rain break, Scott followed for 16 and then Ian Collins for 15. Bakie gave the innings some impetus with a quickfire 21. The biggest shock of the day came with Greg managing 14 not out including a 6 to the amazement of those present. Tony Palin hit a big 6 to finish the match.
