Clackmannan Co 2 beat Falkland 3 by 6 wkts

With a team short of regular bowlers Falkland needed to put a competitive total on the board to trouble a strong Clackmannan 2nd XI.

Gregor Lawson and Harry Ferguson stood firm to see off a fiery opening attack on a minefield of a wicket. The breakthrough came in the 12th over when Harry Ferguson knicked behind before Callum Bell could only guide a delivery which popped horrendously to first slip. Gregor Lawson was caught having made his way to a solid 36. Falkland finishing on 124-8

Clackmannan looked to make light work of their target swinging from the word go providing Jamie Aitken with 2 wickets clean bowled. An excellent spell from Callum Bell brought the 3rd wicket of a good no 3 batsman, giving a sense of optimism and hope. A superb one-handed catch from Francis Stuart off Gregor Lawson looked to increase pressure but Clackmannan had just enough to see them home.
