Despite some good tight bowling at times by the Falkland bowlers Carlton made 261 from their 50 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Top scorer for Carlton was Fraser Watts with 81, supported by Hugo Southwell with 51 from 53 balls. Ben Strachan returned the best bowling figures for Falkland with 1 wicket for 19 runs from 10 overs.
Safyann Sharif opened Falklands batting response but unfortunately none of his team mates were really able to stay with him and keep up the required scoring rate. Sharif was out in the 37th over having scored 92 which contained 7 sixes and 7 fours. When Sharif departed Falkland had lost 9 wickets for a total of 143 runs.
